Marula Oil is extracted from the kernels of Sclerocarya birrea, through the cold pressing method. It is native to South Africa and has been used by traditional communities. It belongs to the Anacardiaceae family of plants kingdom. Marula pulp is used to make traditional alcoholic beverages; Marula beer. Marula fruit is an important source of income for poor rural people of South Africa.

Rich in antioxidant and essential fatty acids, Marula Carrier Oil has been found to significantly improve skin hydration, softness and smoothness. It absorbs well through the skin and is excellent as a massage oil on its own or in a blend. Marula Oil has excellent oxidative stability, which makes it an ideal choice for a modern cosmetic formula. It can be used to manufacture leave-in hair treatments, scalp conditioners, hair lotions, skin moisturizing lotions, body butters, eye shadows, lip treatments.

Recommended Usage Rate: Upto 100% in cosmetic formulations
Formulation Guidelines:
Storage: Store in the same container as received. It is recommended that carrier oils be kept in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using. Can be stored in the conatiers received in.
Caution: This is a cosmetic-grade product. Not suitable for internal consumption. This product can be directly applied on skin/hair. However, batch Production Testing and Patch skin Testing of the end products are recommended for all formulations before mass production / application / usage.
