-Powdered form of stains help in easy incorporation.

-Desired colour shade/depth can be achieved by altering proportions of usage and interminability.

Applications: Used to color clay bodies, slips, or glazes. They can be mixed with water or with frits and brushed onto pottery forms, either over or under a glaze.

Usage: -Stains do not have flux. They can thereby be used only by incorporating them in clay or glazes.

-Recommended addition of 4% - 5% in a transparent glaze and 8% - 10% in an opaque glaze for rich colour output.

-Recommended addition in clay bodies from 5% to 20% depending on the desired depth of colour.

-Stains are intermixable and can also be mixed with colourants to get different results.

Caution:

-Stains react differently under different circumstances (the variables that can alter your results include the chemical composition of the clay body and glaze that you use, the firing temperatures, the kiln atmosphere and the concentration of stain, etc.). The user will need to test the same before bulk production.

-This is an industry-grade ceramic raw material. The user is requested to understand the nature of the product in detail and take requisite precautionary measures. Safety Googles, Gloves and Respirators are advised to be used when handling this product.
