Iscaguard PEG is a flexible and extensively used personal care preservative. Triethylene glycol increases its efficiency by lowering surface tension, allowing it to be more active on microorganism cell membranes. It possesses a broad and balanced range of antibacterial, yeast, mold, and fungus activities.

-The addition of triethylene glycol increases its effectiveness by lowering its surface tension in order to enhance its activity at the cell membranes of microorganisms.

-It is free from parabens, thiazolinone and formaldehyde.

Shampoo, Shower gel (Rinse-off), Creams & Lotions (Leave-on), Wet Wipes, Lip Care, Eye Care, Oral Care, O/W Emulsions & W/O Emulsions.
Recommended Usage Rate: 0.4 – 1.0 %
Formulation Guidelines:
Iscaguard PEG is compatible with most personal care ingredients. In aqueous formulations, heating to 40°C may be required in order to fully dissolve the preservative. Effective in a pH range of 3-8.5, Maximum process temperature of 80 °C.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
Caution: Harmful if swallowed. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation. Recommended to be used only by certified skincare formulators. Please refer the safety documents before usage.
