Cetyl Alcohol cosmetic is a fatty alcohol used in a variety of cosmetic products. This high-grade emollient can be used in creams, lotions, and conditioners to moisturize the skin. Its waxy consistency and non-greasy finish make it an excellent choice for skin and hair care.
Derived From: Palm Oil
Recommended Usage: Used at a concentration of 1-8%
Solubility: Soluble in oil and alcohol but is insoluble in water.
Instructions to Use:
- Heat the oil and water phase of your formulation separately.
- Add our cetyl alcohol to the heated oil phase in the recommended quantity, keeping in mind that the higher the concentration, the thicker the final product would be.
- Blend both the phases using an electric mini-mixer to obtain a homogenous mixture.
