Applications:
Parabens (methyl paraben, propyl paraben) are widely used as preservatives by pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. They are effective preservatives in many types of formulae. These compounds and their salts are used mainly for their antifungal and antibacterial properties.
Recommended Usage Rate: 0.02%-0.06%
Formulation Guidelines:
-Premix propylparaben with other preservatives.
-Add the mix to the heated water phase at a temperature of 95 C.
-Cooldown the mix to 40 C.
-Blend the oil phase in the water phase until an emulsion is formed.
-Add the other ingredients and stir.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
Caution: Harmful if swallowed. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation. Recommended to be used only by certified skincare formulators. Please refer the safety documents before usage.
